![]() A long standing tradition we have, that started way back before we got engaged, is sending out holiday cards. And by holiday, I mean THE holiday. Halloween. That's right. Yes, it's my favorite holiday for various reasons including that there is no pressure to get the perfect gift for anybody, pumpkin and apple flavored treats are delicious, and the creepy spooky aspect is something I enjoy (maybe its because I like to believe in magic, like that of witches and wizards)! It's no coincidence we chose October to be the month we got married people. The fall foliage and chill in the air is a welcomed change after the hot summer days and drying effects of the air conditioning. Finally, it's time to stay in and get crafty! Our family and some of our close friends will start getting a treat in their mailboxes soon. We're pretty psyched about the postage stamps too see HERE for the special edition from USPS.

Finally, we're exited to share with you.... if we're having a boy or a girl... this Spring... joining Mama and Jolene with April birthdays... Printed by Little MIGHTY Press
At last, we finally got our holiday cards out (just barely in time)! Later today, our New Years/Gender reveal go into production! And since we're obviously feeling the holiday joy of spreading good tidings we have to add that just this past friday, our sister Ilse got engaged up in Northern Michigan! To top it off, in a few days, we'll be off to Mexico to celebrate Christmas to be with, the soon-to-be, grandpa Devereux! Jolene will be spending her Christmas with her Halbrook grandpawrents in Maryland where she loves running up and down the stairs, gets plenty of attention and has the run of the yard. So all is indeed feeling merry and bright. Here's to wishing you a happy holiday season! Cheers!
Our little holiday card and announcement went out to friends we didn't get to talk to about the news! Wishing you all safe travels and a relaxing loving holiday this week.
Enjoy your family, your relaxation, your great outdoors, your shopping, you're food and leftovers, your music, your movies, and any of your traditional Thanksgiving weekend activities! Printed by little MIGHTY press |
